Hotel credit card guarantee
The official Microsoft Build conference hotels will not be pre-charging attendees’ credit cards for an advance deposit. However, a credit card is required to hold the reservation. You can change credit cards or use an alternate method of payment upon check-in at the hotel. A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in at your hotel unless payment arrangements have been made ahead of time.
If you fail to cancel your hotel reservation within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival, your hotel will charge you one night’s room, plus tax, and the hotel will cancel your reservation.
