Hotel request status
Once requested, a hotel reservation will go through several different statuses. Below is a definition of the various statuses:
- Processing Reservation Request: Your hotel reservation has been received by Microsoft Build registration team.
- Awaiting Confirmation Number: Your hotel reservation has been sent to the hotel for confirmation.
- Confirmed: Your hotel has assigned a reservation confirmation number.
This process generally takes 10 – 14 business days to complete. Once a hotel reservation is requested, the room is held for the attendee; it may take up to 14 days for the hotel to assign a confirmation number.
IMPORTANT: If a change is made to a hotel reservation, the status will revert to "
"Awaiting Confirmation Number"" until the changes have been reconfirmed by the hotel.
